I’ve been on a horror kick lately so here are some of my favs new and old:

The Free Fall:

literally the best horror movie i’ve seen in the longest time. imagine great psychological horror with a few quality jumpscares, great use of sound, and it has such a cool twist. definitely didn’t know what kind of horror this was until halfway through but in the best way. the ending left me anxious the way all good scares should

Sissy:

i love love love a revenge story. i love getting to watch a woman go fucking berzerk. this had beautiful imagery and was a fun kind of anxiety-inducing the entire time. touches on social media, influencer culture, and toxic positivity. Aisha Dee is phenomenal. another perfect ending

ReAnimator:

this is such a good laugh, really the perfect mix of un-comfortability, cheesy gore, and dad joke-esque bits wrapped up in the cinema stylings of 1985.
